These terms govern your use of this website operated by Keylock LLC ("TaxDashers"). Tax preparation services are provided under a separate engagement letter or client agreement, which controls if it conflicts with these terms.

No guarantees on refunds or outcomes

Refunds are determined and issued by the IRS and state tax agencies. We do not guarantee refunds, refund amounts, refund dates, faster IRS processing, or the outcome of any IRS notice, review, or inquiry.

Website information is general

Content on this website, including articles, webinars, and any automated assistant, is general information and is not tax, legal, or financial advice for your specific situation. You should rely only on advice from a tax professional who has reviewed your circumstances.

Your responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate information, not to submit Social Security numbers, tax documents, or financial account details through website forms, and to use our secure client portal for documents when instructed.

Communications

By checking the consent box on our forms, you agree that we may contact you by phone, text, or email about your request. Marketing messages require separate opt-in consent. You can opt out at any time.

Intellectual property

The TaxDashers name, logo and mascot characters (TaxDash, Refund Rocket, TaxBolt and Refund Rhino) are owned by Keylock LLC and may not be used without our written permission.

Limitation of liability, disputes, and governing law

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Keylock LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of this website. Our total liability for any claim related to our services will not exceed the fees you paid us for the service the claim relates to. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under law that cannot be waived. If a dispute arises, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it informally. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and any legal action will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Broward County, Florida.

Text messaging terms

TaxDashers Client Updates: by checking the consent box on our website, you agree to receive text messages from TaxDashers about your request, appointments, documents we need and the status of your tax return. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel at any time; you will receive one confirmation message. Reply HELP for help, or call (754) 755-1577. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

We will never ask for or send Social Security numbers, bank details or tax return details by text message. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.
